Jessica Cicero, PA-C

Jessica Cicero, PA-C has been passionate about orthopedic care since a young age. As a year-round soccer player, gymnast, and cheerleader, she has witnessed (and personally experienced) many athletes being sidelined due to injury. She has enjoyed working in all aspects of healthcare from volunteering at multiple hospitals, to assisting adults with physical and mental disabilities in living independently. Her time working in these roles furthered her desire to assist in quality-of-life care and pursuing a career as an orthopedic Physician Assistant.

She graduated with honors from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a degree in Biochemistry. She then went on to complete a comprehensive Physician Assistant program at Rush University in Chicago. While in Chicago, she completed an advanced clinical practice rotation in orthopedic surgery at Midwest Orthopedics at Rush. Following graduation, she returned to Minnesota and spent over 10 years working in sports medicine and an orthopedic urgent care. During that time, she volunteered her time completing high school sports physicals and working as medical staff for athletic events including the 2016 US Figure Skating Championship. In 2024, she felt a calling to move to Michigan to be closer to family. She has been privileged to work with some nationally renowned surgeons in her career. She is excited to be working with Dr. Silas providing evidence-based care while taking into account the goals and needs of each patient.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and son. They enjoy spending time outdoors, running, and playing sports. She also enjoys a variety of indoor activities such as sewing, crochet, and reading.
